Update: the application window closed on 26 June 2026. These 148 posts are part of MPPSC's larger Assistant Professor recruitment (around 949 posts across 15 subjects); the windows for most other subjects have already closed.

Important Dates#

Eligibility#

• Education: Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories), AND UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / SLET / SET qualified.
• PhD holders (as per UGC regulations) are exempt from the NET/SET requirement.
• Age: 21 to 40 years. (Please confirm the exact age reference date on the official notification.)
• Upper-age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/EWS, women and PwD as per MP Government rules.

Application Fee#

An MP Online portal charge of around Rs. 40 applies on top of the fee. The reserved-category concession is only for Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates; out-of-state candidates pay the General fee.

Selection Process#

Selection is based on a written examination followed by an interview, with the final merit decided on combined performance, followed by document verification.

Exam Pattern#

• Paper 1 (General Studies / Aptitude): 50 questions, 200 marks, 1 hour.
• Paper 2 (Subject): 150 questions, 600 marks, 3 hours.
• Interview: 100 marks.
